Job Description and Duties

Independently reviews the travel advance and most complex travel claims using the California Automated Travel Expense and Advances Reimbursement System (CalATERS Global).  This includes approving, rejecting, or altering claims and advances based on criteria established by departmental policy, State regulations, and applicable Memorandums of Understanding.  Responsible for and audits and schedules payments for airline, rental car and lodging when charged to the Department's account in the State Travel Payment System; assigns accounting codes to record expenditures by matching travelers to an Excel spreadsheet listing of current employees and their respective locations; and monitors airline credits in Concur to ensure that available credits are used prior to their expiration date.  Prepares memorandum to send to area offices to reconcile the charges on the Departments credit card billing.  Performs other duties as indicaed on the duty statement.

Working Conditions

Office cubicle environment with computers, phones, copy and scanning machines. No telework available.
