For those with a passion for ministry and helping others through Christ, the College of Theology offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Christian Studies. Specializations include Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership.
As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Course to be taught:
BIB-380 - Pauline Epistles
"This course provides an overview of the Apostle Paul's letters to the early New Testament churches. Special attention is given to the nature of Paul's ministry, the theological, social, and practical issues he addressed, and how these texts are relevant for faithful Christian living."
As an adjunct faculty member, your responsibilities will include:
Facilitating classroom lectures and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
Assessing student performance by grading assignments and providing valuable feedback.
Providing a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Equipping students with the required skill set and preparing them to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.
Qualifications:
Master of Divinity (PhD preferred) from an accredited college or university.
18 graduate credits in Greek and the Pauline Epistles.
2 or more years of professional experience in the pastorate or teaching New Testament at the postsecondary level.
A passion for teaching and mentoring students in a Christian context.
