Position: Anaplan Model Builder

Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote)

Experience: 2 years of Anaplan experience is required; 3+ years of Anaplan experience is preferred.

Education:

• Strong finance background with experience building complex financial models and the ability to quickly learn similar software platforms.
• Anaplan Certified Model Builder certification is strongly preferred.

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking an Anaplan Model Builder to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Design, build, document, and maintain Anaplan models, modules, pages, apps, lists, dashboards, and other platform components.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into effective Anaplan solutions.
• Review and analyze existing models to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Provide end-user training, support deployment activities, and assist with change management and troubleshooting efforts.
• Work closely with the Anaplan Product Manager to build and maintain data hubs, integrations, and connections with external systems.
• Remain current with Anaplan platform developments, including new features, capabilities, and best practices.
• Support agile sprint planning and execution by managing assigned tasks effectively and participating in regular team meetings.

Position Requirements:

• Certified proficiency in Anaplan model building, including model design, data integration, and user interface development.
• Strong financial aptitude and understanding of financial and operational planning processes.
• Ability to quickly learn new business concepts, even those outside of previous experience.
• Curiosity and a proactive mindset, with a passion for understanding and improving systems.
• Self-starter with the ability to work semi-independently and manage work without constant oversight.
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting experience, preferably in an FP&A environment.
• Experience in building complex financial models and translating sophisticated Excel spreadsheets into Anaplan’s multidimensional models.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across various levels of the organization.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or beverage industry is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or similar cloud-based platforms is beneficial but not required.
• Board reporting experience and familiarity with broader enterprise systems such as SAP or Oracle are helpful but not mandatory.
