Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Job Captain / Technical Architect to join our healthcare design team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing construction documentation, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring projects meet all relevant codes and constructability standards. This position requires a strong focus on technical excellence, clarity in documentation, and a thorough understanding of healthcare design and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and coordination of construction documentation sets for healthcare projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to integrate design intent with technical requirements. Conduct detailed code reviews and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Review constructability aspects of design to facilitate smooth construction processes. Assist in design development, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to project budgets and schedules. Prepare documentation ready for bidding, including specifications, details, and technical specifications. Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors throughout project phases to ensure seamless communication and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture. Minimum of 5 years of post-grad experience in architecture, with a focus on healthcare projects. Proven experience in construction documentation, design development, and code compliance. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices. Excellent coordination skills with clients, consultants, and construction teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on constructability and technical accuracy. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
