THE AGENCY OMG23 is the Omnicom Media Group agency dedicated to Walt Disney Studios, Disney+ and Disney’s multiple television networks. At OMG23, we have the privilege of partnering with Disney on the planning, buying and implementation of its integrated ad campaigns for some of the entertainment industry’s most iconic brands. Our Walt Disney Studios team works on titles that include a wide variety of blockbuster films distributed under the Walt Disney Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century, and Searchlight banners. THE JOB The Assistant Media Planner for Out of Home works closely with the Supervisors and Planners in developing and maintaining media plans, while absorbing as much media knowledge as possible about the overall business. Responsibilities Include Assisting in the development and execution of OOH and print media plans Compiling data to support the media recommendation, including running syndicated research on the consumer Updating media planning documents for client use Communicating and collaborating with internal planning, activation and digital teams Collecting competitive research and preparing reports Assisting print/OOH team with client-supplied Adobe InDesign creative files; developing filmmaker presentations on Keynote for client use Assisting with the contracting of inventory and organizing proof-of-performance photos and reports Conducting campaign audits through “market rides” with vendor partners Developing professional relationships with media vendors Participating in brainstorm sessions Attending the OMG23 Media Training Program to learn: Media concepts and terminology Media fundamentals (media math, plan development, etc.) Media building blocks (TV, Radio, Print, Internet, Out-of-Home, Alternative vehicles) Presentation/writing skills Attending internal/external meetings and presentations Keeping abreast of industry trends through advertising and media trade journals YOU We encourage you to apply if the below describes your experience and talents: College graduate with a strong interest in a media planning/digital media career Relevant experience (employment or internship) in media or advertising preferred, but not required Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong quantitative (analytical and math) skills Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly when participating in internal and client-facing meetings Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is preferred This is a hybrid role based in Burbank, CA. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits. Compensation Range $40,000—$40,000 USD This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
