Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team in Virginia Beach. As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and driving sustainable growth while ensuring fiscal responsibility across all operations.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic financial leadership and serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's short and long-term objectives
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Direct treasury functions including cash management, investment strategies, and capital structure
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience with at least 5 years in a senior financial role
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate financial insights into business decisions
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for a growing organization
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences
• Experience with financial systems implementation and optimization
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and accounting principles
