About the Position
Reporting to the HS Principal, the HS Assistant Principal (AP) of STEM is responsible for coaching and managing a team of staff members to result in transformative outcomes for students. Through highly engaged and highly effective adult leadership, the AP will lead, inspire and coach staff members to actualize APR’s vision, mission and goals. As a member of the school-based leadership team, the AP creates the conditions for school-based staff members to cultivate identity-affirming classrooms characterized by intellectually affirming instruction. The AP will empower staff members with the knowledge and skills necessary to accelerate student achievement, growth, and agency.
