Egypt Valley Country Club is seeking a warm, polished, and professional Host/Hostess to join our food & beverage team. As the first and last point of contact for members and their guests, the host plays a vital role in shaping a positive dining experience. In our private club setting, exceptional hospitality, discretion, and attention to detail are essential.
As a Host at Egypt Valley, you are a key ambassador of the club's service culture. You'll be responsible for welcoming members, managing reservations, assisting with table flow, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.
Warmly greet and seat members and guests with professionalism and grace
Manage and monitor reservations and guest flow using club software
Coordinate special requests such as dietary needs or celebratory seating
Communicate effectively with management, service professionals, and kitchen staff
Maintain awareness of daily specials, club events, and dining policies
Ensure club standards are upheld in dress code, guest policies, and service
Assist with light administrative tasks and to-go order coordination as needed
Professional appearance and polished demeanor
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Organized, proactive, and attentive to detail
Ability to handle pressure with composure and care
Knowledge of hospitality or private club environments preferred
Availability for weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events
Neat, well-groomed appearance and adherence to uniform standards
No phone usage in guest-facing areas
Must be a team player with a member-first mindset
Members feel welcomed, remembered, and valued
Dining room operates smoothly, even during peak hours
Strong communication between the host stand and service team
