**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing both preventive and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery. Your work will focus primarily on mechanical and electrical tasks, with opportunities to expand your expertise in PLC and VFD systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery. + Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems. + Work with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with wiring and electrical components. + Read and interpret industrial schematics and voltages. + Install and repair industrial equipment such as conveyors, presses, gearboxes, and pumps. **Essential Skills** + 1-3+ years of experience troubleshooting controls, 3-phase motors, and limit switches. + Ability to read industrial schematics and voltages. + Experience with electrical maintenance and industrial maintenance. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining 3-phase systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with PLC or VFD systems is a bonus. + 1-3+ years of experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. + 1-3+ years of experience installing and troubleshooting 480V 3-phase motors. + 1-3+ years working with limit switches, drives, control panels, and electrical wiring. + 1-3+ years of experience in preventive maintenance on industrial equipment. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive training programs and provide opportunities for career advancement with pay increases every six months. Safety is a priority, and adherence to all safety protocols is essential. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Talladega, Alabama. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
