Job Description

Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager

Committed to building long term brand value and loyalty through influencing community engagement, the Marketing Coordinator will lead storytelling efforts behind social content development, programming promotion, and digital channels. As a cross-functional collaborator, creative problem solver and innovative thinker who is simultaneously consumer-focused and results-oriented, you’ll be responsible for driving marketing successes for the property.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

Social Media //

  • Develop and deploy social content reflective of 21c purpose and values, including engagement, tagging, replying, etc. 
  • Generate content as needed in both hotel and restaurant.
  • Plan and manage regular social planning meetings with Marketing, Sales, Museum, and F&B teams. 
  • Create and present planned monthly social calendar to Senior Marketing Manager and property teams.
  • Work with property senior leadership to grow engagement and revenue.

 

Marketing //

  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing team on property marketing strategy and implement through execution stage. 
  • Assist with executing property quarterly calendar for social, email, events and promotions.
  • Deliver monthly reporting by gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources, to understand performance and shape strategic direction.
  • Assist with development of property level assets (including photography and video) as needed.

 

Digital //

  • Manage property and restaurant website content.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Understand strategies and impact of digital and social advertising with Senior Marketing Manager, Ennismore’s Digital Marketing Team and third-party agency.

 

Community Engagement //

  • Cultivate strong relationships with like-minded community partners to create programming and cross-promotional strategies alongside Senior Marketing Manager, Museum Manager and Property Leadership.
  • Be an enthusiastic team member at property and community events, jumping in and assisting as necessary.

 

 

Public Relations:

  • Work alongside Senior Marketing Manager to execute press opportunities and media stays.
  • In coordination with the corporate Public Relations team, serve as the local contact for press opportunities.

 

Meetings:

  • Participate in weekly property team calls
  • Participate in monthly marketing meetings with larger team to guide strategy
  • Meet regularly with Senior Marketing Manager

Qualifications

  • A passion for community, contemporary art, food & beverage and travel.
  • Knowledge of the local art community and/or hospitality is beneficial.
  • Extraordinary communicator, enthusiastic storyteller, exceptional writing skills and visual aesthetic
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Strong planning and project management competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with leadership
  • Skilled in multi-tasking and managing several priorities at once
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with guests, team members, external business partners and third-party vendors
  • Business oriented and consumer driven
  • Working knowledge of Canva preferred
  • Experience with results driven social media, content creation and reporting strongly preferred
  • Experience working within WordPress preferred
  • Interest in digital marketing campaigns and analytics.
  • Ability to act as ambassador of 21c Museum Hotels and related brands and demonstrate confidence in his/her knowledge of the history, brand values, vision, and direction.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2 to 3 years related experience in marketing or social media
