Job Description

**Responsibilities** Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients under supervision and responsibility of a Physician. + Gathers complete history of patients and perform complete physical examinations or focused physical examinations for specific complaints. Completes discharge summaries and maintains documentation on patient visits + Conducts daily patient rounds, as needed + Recognizes and evaluates situations which require immediate attention of supervising physician and which require treatment procedures essential for life of patients; responds in appropriate manner. + Coordinates with supervising physician + Follows up with patient by phone (post treatment). Coordinates resources to facilitate care for out-of-town patients + Prescribes and dispenses drugs + Monitors effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and makes appropriate referrals when necessary. + Secures patient health illness and psychological history by ordering, performing and interpreting appropriate laboratory, radiographic and other diagnostic tests. + Consults and collaborates with other members of the health care team in the assessment and management of health care problems. **Qualifications** **MINIMUM** Minimum 3 years clinical experience in related area Background in pre-med. Degree as a Physician Assistant PA-C DEA:AZ American Heart Association ACLS American Heart Association BLS- CPR AZ state Physician Assistant License; PA:AZ NCCPA certification; Credentialed as allied health professional with CRMC and MGMC required. **Overview** Located in the Phoenix Ariz. suburb of Chandler the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 338-bed not-for-profit hospital with more than 2500 employees and almost 1000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties.
