**Responsibilities**
+ Provide daily operational oversight and leadership for revenue cycle activities and resources.
+ Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
+ Interface with outside consultants including contract negotiations and third party billing.
+ Assist with development, monitoring and compliance of departmental budget(s).
+ Manage revenue valuation quarterly reviews performed by auditors.
+ Develop revenue valuation recommendations for management.
+ Produce reports measuring financial and operational performance including, but not limited to cash collections, unbilled, denials, volume trends, contract yield, evaluation of predictive models with actual results, financial performance analysis, benchmarking and trend analysis.
+ Set and adhere to project budgets and timelines.
+ Provide frequent status updates, reports, and project summaries to administration and supervisors whose departments are influenced by projects.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
+ 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
