Job Description
Overview McKim & Creed is a leading top 150 ENR-ranked firm and we are seeking an enthusiastic Senior CAD Designer to provide technical AutoCAD Civil 3D support of Civil Engineering Water/Wastewater design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team to produce design/construction drawings and specifications on some REALLY COOL projects! Your Day-day Will Include - This person will work in a project team setting and support the designers and engineers with development of AutoCAD drawing files.
- Manage project assignments and coordinates with other CAD staff.
- Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, elevations, structure sections, construction details, references, and perspective drawings.
- Manage CAD drawing files for production, deliverables and archiving.
- Prepare drawings for various members of the project team.
- Coordinate with others outside of the project team as necessary for project development.
What You Need - High school diploma or GED and college level CAD classes.
- 10 + years of experience using Autocad 2022 (or newer)
- Must be methodical, precise, and consistent but enjoys some variety in work schedule and can tolerate change.
- Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively on a project team.
- Good technical design skills required.
What Will Make You Stand Out - Knowledge of Revit preferred
- Experience working on water infrastructure projects (i.e. water distribution and wastewater collection/pumping projects) preferred.
