The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Tennessee Titans' ancillary social media platforms (Mascot T-Rac, Titans Cheer, Nissan Stadium, etc.) - including writing copy, publishing, and contributing to content ideation and execution. The position will also help enhance content across all the Titans social media channels and support the Social Media Manager and the Director of Social and Influencer Marketing.

The ideal candidate will be an empathetic collaborator with a passion for social media and football. Previous sports experience, social media account management, and a positive social footprint is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create, oversee and execute the social media strategy for all Tennessee Titans' ancillary social accounts - including, but not limited to, Mascot T-Rac, Titans Cheer, Nissan Stadium, etc.
  • Assist with the coordination of Titans official accounts: Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn, Snapchat and other social platforms
  • Creatively contribute to the idea generation, content development, planning and scheduling for all Titans social media channels
  • Craft innovative, entertaining content backed by equally captivating copy
  • Support daily social publishing, ensuring consistency with the team's defined voice and tone across accounts
  • Provide social coverage at community events, Titans gamedays and other organizational initiatives as needed
  • Stay up to date on emerging social media platforms, trends and best practices and recommend innovative strategies to reach new audiences and engage existing followers
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ideate and execute social strategy around tent pole events
  • Work closely with Creative team to develop social-first content concepts
  • Contribute to the overall Social Media team effort though positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Sport's Management or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in sports social media content
  • Ability to write clear, engaging copy that aligns with brand voice and audience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with clients, peers, and team members at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in social media content tools (e.g., Slate)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, often independently
  • Strong understanding of internet culture and emerging social media platforms and trends
  • Highly creative with the passion for digital storytelling through high-caliber content
  • Passion to elevate the Tennessee Titans' social media to a best-in-class standard in sports
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
