The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The Connectivity team within the Enterprise Mobile Computing organization delivers seamless voice and data network connectivity and other key technology solutions to enterprise customers to enable mission critical business applications. US Summer Internship Benefits: Summer Fridays, As Applicable With Your Team 30+ Social and Professional Events in 12 Weeks Global Immersion With Your Teams and Interns Intern Allowance (when applicable) Responsibilities: Indoor Location - Sensor Based - Explore and Implement Optimized Machine Learning Algorithms (Device/Cloud) to extract features based on Device Data for Indoor Location. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, development and testing of indoor location solutions based on device's sensors (magnetometer, gyroscope, accelerometer)

• Assist in gathering and analyzing sensor data related to indoor mapping and positioning
• Implement optimized machine learning algorithms to determine the position, orientation, direction of the device relative to an indoor floor map
• Integrate the research results with the current Zebra solution
• Assist with the evaluation of various third party solutions
• Write Android applications to integrate SDKs from various partners
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project progress
• Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
• Increase technology knowledge and skills
• Develop team-based work proficiencies
• Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN HOLTSVILLE, NY. THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE. Qualifications: Required Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Must have an anticipated graduation date between 2026-2027
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications: • Programming languages:

• C and C++
• Java
• Python

• Software engineering principles
• Experience with Android operating system and development tools
• Experience with machine learning and AI tools
• Experience with Wi-Fi technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
• Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Salary: USD 24.00 - USD 31.00 Hourly Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
