Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Silicon Operations to lead the supply chain management for all silicon products, including Endpoint ICs and Reader ICs. This role is essential in managing the entire production life cycle— from wafer procurement to post-processing, finished goods, warehousing, and shipments. You will oversee product quantity, quality, and cost while ensuring an exceptional level of service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the supply chain for all silicon products, from wafer procurement to shipping finished goods.
Develop and operationalize a rolling 5-year supply chain strategy to meet evolving business needs.
Partner with Sales and Product Management to establish demand forecasts for the short, medium, and long term.
Ensure the wafer supply strategy aligns with both supply and financial goals.
Manage relationships with contract manufacturers to convert wafers into finished goods, while ensuring the highest quality and customer satisfaction.
Create and execute effective sourcing strategies while handling contracting, negotiations, and supplier management globally.
Oversee manufacturing and logistics operations to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Monitor, report, and continuously improve supply chain performance metrics.
Manage and control both capital and operational budgets to ensure adequate supply.
Lead and develop a team to support rapid business growth.
What You Bring to the Table:
A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 15 years of experience in supply chain management, including 5-7+ years in a leadership role in a global organization.
Familiarity with ISO9001 standards or regulated industries.
Proven success in supplier management, cost reduction, on-time delivery, and sustainability.
Experience in negotiating large-scale, multi-year contracts with manufacturers and suppliers.
A strong track record of scaling organizations—both people and processes—successfully.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive base pay ranging from $190,000 to $305,000, depending on experience, skills, and responsibilities.
