• Over 10 years of experience in ETL/Data Integration development.
• Led and mentored teams of 8+ Talend ETL developers.
• Provided technical direction, guidance, and support to ETL development teams.
• Collaborated with stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Participated in project planning, risk identification, and mitigation efforts.
• Ensured adherence to deadlines, coding standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Experience working with US Healthcare customers.

ETL/Data Integration Development

• Strong expertise in designing complex ETL/ELT solutions using Talend Studio and related components.
• Built robust and scalable data integration solutions between diverse systems (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud apps, flat files).
• Developed and optimized Talend jobs, workflows, and mappings for performance and quality.
• Implemented ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading using Talend.
• Performed unit testing and participated in system integration testing for ETL pipelines.
• Conducted troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to ETL jobs and data pipelines.
• Maintained Talend environments including job scheduling and performance tuning.
• Created and maintained documentation such as technical specifications and data flow diagrams.
• Participated in code reviews and contributed to establishing best practices and coding standards.

Data & Database Skills

• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, transformation, and data manipulation.
• Experience with a wide range of data sources and targets:
  • Relational Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • NoSQL Databases
  • Flat Files: CSV, TXT
  • Cloud Services & APIs: REST, SOAP
• Hands-on experience with data profiling, quality checks, and error-handling strategies within ETL pipelines.

Cloud & AWS Technologies

• Practical knowledge of AWS core services:
  • Compute & Storage: EC2, S3, EFS, EBS
  • Networking & Security: IAM, AWS Roles, VPC, Security Groups, Route 53, Network ACLs
  • Monitoring: CloudWatch Logs
  • Databases: Amazon Redshift, Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB
• Familiar with AWS data integration services:
  • ETL & Analytics: AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, AWS Lake Formation, AWS Data Pipeline
  • Workflow Automation: AWS Step Functions, AppFlow

Tools & Technologies

• Proficient in:
  • Talend Studio
  • Talend Administration Center / Talend Management Console (TMC)
  • Terraform (basic understanding)
  • GitLab (CI/CD pipelines)
• Familiar with job scheduling tools and performance monitoring frameworks.

Scripting & Development Practices

• Experience with scripting languages:
  • Python
  • Shell scripting
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

Big Data & Advanced Tools

• Understanding of big data technologies:
  • Hadoop
  • Apache Spark
  • Talend Big Data platform

Certifications & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred certifications:
  • Talend Certified Developer
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate
