Parallel Employment is looking for a dedicated Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for leading a team to meet performance targets while maintaining a positive work environment. You will oversee various functions including receiving shipments, managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring timely distribution. Your leadership will be crucial in training team members, fostering collaboration, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining workspace organization.
**NOTE: Working hours require flexibility - Monday - Wednesday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm.
As a Team Lead, you will also be responsible for:
• Facilitating clear communication and collaboration among team members.
• Conducting training sessions for new hires, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Assisting warehouse management with special projects and additional tasks as needed.
• Preparing and processing paperwork for outbound shipments.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote efficiency.
Essential Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective team collaboration and communication capabilities.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Requirements
• Minimum of three (2) years’ experience in a warehouse setting, with at least one (1) year in a leadership position.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 60lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Proven ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.
• Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks is required.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends.
